Dual Enrollment

Earn College Credit While Completing High School

"Preparing students academically, spiritually, and for the future God has planned for them."

At Nazarene Christian Academy, we are excited to offer guidance to students who wish to participate in Dual Enrollment through accredited colleges and universities. This opportunity allows qualified high school students to earn college credit while remaining enrolled as full-time students at NCA.

Our goal is to support families through the enrollment process while helping students develop the independence and responsibility expected of college students.

Why Choose Dual Enrollment?

Dual Enrollment allows students to:

✔ Earn college credits before graduating high school

✔ Experience the expectations of college-level coursework

✔ Explore career interests and future degree pathways

✔ Strengthen college applications

✔ Potentially reduce future college tuition costs

Important Information

Dual Enrollment courses are college courses. Students are expected to meet all deadlines, communicate with their instructors, and complete coursework independently.

Your Responsibilities

How NCA Supports You

Although college courses are completed independently, NCA is committed to helping students navigate the enrollment process.

Students will receive:

Application Assistance

Our staff will guide students through the college application and Dual Enrollment registration process.

 Dedicated Point of Contact

Each student will have an NCA staff member available to answer questions regarding:

  • Applications

  • Registration

  • Enrollment requirements

  • General program concerns

Need Academic Help?

Questions about assignments, grades, exams, or course content should be directed to the college professor or the college's academic support services.

Choosing Your Courses

Choosing the right college classes is an important decision.

Because every student's goals are different:

  • NCA does not select Dual Enrollment courses for students.

  • Course selection should be made through discussions between the student, parents, and when appropriate, the college advisor.

  • Students should consider future college majors, career goals, graduation requirements, and personal interests when selecting courses.

Academic Support

Please note the following:

🔹 NCA does not provide instruction for Dual Enrollment courses.

🔹 Students are responsible for completing all assignments and communicating directly with their college instructors.

🔹 If an NCA staff member has expertise in a specific subject, tutoring may be available. Availability will be determined on an individual basis and cannot be guaranteed.

Important Reminder

Participation in Dual Enrollment is a privilege that requires strong time-management skills, personal responsibility, and academic maturity. Students should carefully consider their current workload before enrolling in college-level courses.
