NCA Summer Camp: A Joyful Start to Summer!

Nazarene Christian Academy’s Summer Camp is off to an exciting and joy-filled start! During the first two weeks of camp, our students have made memories, learned new things, and shared laughter together as we embraced fun weekly themes.

Week 1: Spirit Week

Our first week was Spirit Week, where each day brought its own creative adventure:

• Career Day let our students dress up as future doctors, teachers, firefighters, and more, sharing their dreams with friends.

• Mismatch Day turned our hallways into a rainbow of silly socks, colorful patterns, and creative outfits.

• Crazy Hair Day was a hit, with bright colors, tall spikes, and fun braids bringing smiles throughout campus.

  
  

Students also enjoyed games, crafts, and activities that encouraged team spirit, friendship, and confidence, making Spirit Week a vibrant kickoff to the summer.

Week 2: Explore the Outdoors

Our second week was all about exploring God’s creation with our Explore the Outdoors theme:

• Insect Day gave students a chance to learn about different bugs, make insect crafts, and discover the beauty of even the smallest parts of God’s world.

• Make S’mores Day brought sweet treats and sticky fingers as we learned how to safely make s’mores together while talking about camping and enjoying God’s creation.

• Nature Hunt Walk Day allowed students to search for leaves, flowers, and other treasures around our campus while enjoying the fresh air and the wonder of the outdoors.

  
  

Each day helped students appreciate nature while learning through play, exploration, and hands-on activities.
